Întrebări generale

Q. What is Concillio?

A. Concillio is an AI legal intelligence platform for Romania. It combines artificial intelligence with structured access to Romanian legislation to provide you with legal guidance grounded in verified sources - not generic answers.

Q. How is Concillio different from a legal chatbot?

A. Unlike a chatbot, Concillio doesn't fabricate answers. Every statement is linked to a verifiable legislative source, with exact citations. Additionally, guided legal workflows provide you with concrete steps, not just general information.

Q. How is my data protected?

A. Your data is processed exclusively on Azure infrastructure in Europe, in compliance with GDPR. We do not share information with third parties and we do not use your data for AI model training.

Q. How much does Concillio cost?

A. Concillio is currently in early access. You can request a free invitation to be among the first users. Pricing plans will be announced at public launch.

Q. What legal domains does Concillio cover?

A. Concillio covers 7 legal domains with over 75 guided workflows: labor law, enforcement, consumer protection, civil and commercial contracts, administrative law, family law and real estate law. Covered domains will progressively expand with corporate law, tax law, successions, GDPR and others.

Q. Does Concillio replace a lawyer?

A. No. Concillio is a legal information tool, not a legal advice tool. It helps you understand the legislation and make informed decisions, but it does not replace the advice of a lawyer. According to Law 51/1995, legal advice can only be provided by a lawyer.

Q. Can Concillio help a lawyer with legal research?

A. Yes. Concillio accelerates legal documentation by providing rapid access to legislation, jurisprudence and domain-structured procedural workflows. Every response is linked to the exact legislative source — article, paragraph, normative act — so you can verify any citation in seconds. The platform does not interpret legislation or issue legal opinions; it provides you with verified source material so you can build your legal argument.

Q. How does Concillio guarantee the accuracy of legislative citations?

A. Concillio uses a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture that anchors every response in documents indexed from authoritative sources — legislatie.just.ro, the Official Gazette, the ÎCCJ and CCR portals. No statement is generated from the AI model's memory without being supported by a retrieved and verifiable source. This means you can always locate the source document — essential when preparing a procedural document or an internal legal opinion.

Q. How can Concillio help me prepare Terms and Conditions for my product or service?

A. Concillio analyses the structure required by Romanian and European legislation for Terms and Conditions documents — including GDPR requirements, withdrawal rights for distance contracts and mandatory clauses for digital services. You receive a detailed map of required sections, references to applicable legal texts and alerts for clauses that may be considered abusive. Final drafting remains the responsibility of a lawyer; Concillio provides you with a grounded legal framework.

Q. Can Concillio support a notary's work in real estate transactions?

A. Concillio provides structured workflows for the real estate law domain: title verification, land legal status, succession and heir tables, land register requirements. These workflows do not replace the notarial act — they are documentation tools that support file preparation and rapid verification of applicable legal conditions. The source for each step is explicitly indicated, allowing the notary to validate the information before using it in practice.

Q. Can Concillio provide legal advice to a legal professional?

A. No. Concillio is a legal information and research tool, not a provider of legal advice. Under Law no. 51/1995 on the organisation and practice of the legal profession, legal advice may only be provided by lawyers enrolled in the bar. Legal professionals may use Concillio as a documentation, legislative research and rapid source verification tool — legal decisions and opinions remain entirely the professional's responsibility.
